WOMEN Milan opened in 2002 by Dejan Markovic. The WOMEN board manages the editorial stars while the WOMEN Direct Division works mostly on high level commercial clients. The Italian model mogul Piero Piazzi, who joined in 2003 as the director of WOMEN Milan, handles along with his team such icons and superstar models as Isabeli Fontana, Natasha Poly, Mariacarla Boscono, Doutzen Kroes, Iselin Steiro, Stella Tennant, Valentina Zelyaeva, Jourdan Dunn, Anne Vyalitsyna, Viktoriya Sasonkina, Katrin Thormann, Iris Strubbeger, Rosie Huntington Whitely, and Kasia Struss as well as stars of the future like Mirte Maas, Daria Strokous and Lais Ribeiro. Many of these top models even started their careers with WOMEN Milan. In addition, this agency was awarded the "Best Italian Model Agency" during the last 2 editions of the Italian Fashion Oscars.
